4721 B01 & B02
B01 is the usual pipe-cleaning after a release and doesn’t have anything new in it.
B02 has a few things of interest. Firstly the ‘start Vuze on login’ has been updated to work with OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion). Second The “CTRL+HOME” keyboard shortcut doesn’t work bug has been fixed.
Some work that is being undertaken over the next few snapshots is the introduction of a ‘reduced resource’ startup-mode for Vuze. The idea here is to make running Vuze on login use as little resource as possible. Once this is implemented we’ll look at switching into and out of this mode during normal running.
When this mode is enabled Vuze will startup minimized and without creating the user-interface, it will only use UDP based network connections and the DHT will be in a sleeping mode (for example) - opening the Vuze UI will kick it out of this mode (as will other operations such as adding a torrent)
If you want to play around with this look at Tools->Options->Startup&Shutdown and make sure your mode is intermediate or above:
